The Glieder Group is a biotech research team located at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology at the Graz University of Technology.

The Glieder team has leading expertise in enzyme engineering and recombinant protein production using Pichia pastoris as the microbial production host. By combining knowledge, advanced expression technologies and innovative tools of synthetic biology the expression of gene pathways and maximization of the catalytic activity and production capacities of a broad portfolio of enzymes was achieved within the group.
